tHt training

Friday was the tHt (teens Helping teens) training at YISS. This is where I teach the students how to help other teens with issues like depression, low self-esteem, bullying and skills for effective conflict resolution. The training was originally scheduled to be for 3 days, but because there were only 2 interested students, I thought it might be beneficial to make it only 1 day of training and cover things more in depth on an as needed basis. I cut down the material, but it was to a point where I felt that I could not cut out any more material, however, it was still to much to cover in an 8 hour day.

The morning of the training, I opened in prayer, and I said Lord, give us an ample amount of time to cover all the material that you desire for me to teach these students. Late in the day as we were finishing the last part of material, having covered everything in the book, I said, wow, it's a miracle, that we finished everything, I cannot believe. Then I said, wait, I should be praising God for answer the prayer that I prayed in the morning. How faithful is our Lord, when we just ask! Praise God for an awesome day of tHt!
