Studying Like Crazy

Well, it has been an interesting last couple of weeks. I've been studying child psychology, adolescent psychology and statistics. The two psychology classes have really given me an insight into the development of children and adolescents. I know more now that as far as school, and helping students, adolescence is definitely my called concentration. Learning about development has helped me to understand the Korean people better and Allen has made the suggestion that if I ever get my PhD in Psychology that I could do my dissertation on Korean development. I've already started making lots of notes and I found a Korean American Journal Article for my Article Summary assignment in Adol. Psych. I am so thankful for Allen, because if it were not for his help, and the Holy Spirit's calming guidance, I would not have been able to get this far in statistics.

Going through these 3 classes has also woken me up to the fact that there is no way that I can take 18 credit hours in the fall and 21 in the spring. Now wait... yes, I could to it with God's help, but I really feel that it is not what He wants me to do. There have been times during these two psych classes where I have really wanted to dig deeper into the information, but I cannot because I have just enough time to do my assignments. I don't want my studies about my concentration to be like that. Since all the classes I have remaining are also upper level, it would be madness to study and be able to do extra research and such. Plus, I would have zero time for anything else. Which, as we all know, causes me stress. So I am praying and seeking God's guidance for my studies. I am pretty confident about what He wants, but I want to be 100% sure that I am discerning His voice and not my own inner desires.

1.5 weeks till my summer vacation! I get 7 whole weeks off from studying!! Yay! Praise the Lord!!
